Nebraska Hands & Voices is proud to collaborate with many partners who all work toward a common goal...to serve families and children who are deaf or hard of hearing.
The Nebraska Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program oversees the newborn hearing screening process for Nebraska. Their mission includes developing, promoting, and supporting systems to ensure all newborns in Nebraska receive hearing screenings, family-centered evaluations, and early intervention as appropriate.
PTI Nebraska (Parent Training and Information) is a statewide resource for families of children with disabilities and special health care needs. Their mission is to provide training, information and support to Nebraska parents and professionals who have an interest in children ages birth through twenty-six, who receive or should receive special health related services. PTI will enable parents and students, creating the capacity for them to improve their educational outcomes.
The Nebraska Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing advocates to create opportunities by raising awareness through collaboration. Their vision is access for all, with the goal of empowering individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing through training, and to provide services that create awareness.
