Abigail Laska

Congratulations to Abigail Laska, our August 2022 Rising Star!

Abigail was nominated by Lindsey Hinzmann:

"I would like to nominate Abigail Laska for the Rising Star Award. Abigail has been actively involved in Nebraska Regional Program activities since early elementary school. Her family has also been very involved within the Northeast Regional Program by attending many family events. Abigail has become more confident, more talkative and has established friendships through attending these events. Abigail has been a member of the Nebraska Regional Programs’ Academic Bowl team for the past two years. Over this time, Abigail has grown to be a leader in this group. She is not afraid to answer questions and has grown in her confidence. As part of a service project, Abigail assisted her Teacher of the Deaf in creating Language Books for other students who are Deaf or hard of hearing. She is a great friend and encourager of her peers and a good role model to others!"
