Elizabeth Trausch

Congratulations to Elizabeth Trausch, the February 2019 Rising Star!

Elizabeth was nominated for this award by one of her teachers who wrote the following:

"I nominate Elizabeth for the Rising Star award. Elizabeth is a Senior at Silver Lake High School in Roseland, Nebraska. She is involved in many activities such as 4-H, band, chorus, sports and community activities. She always has a smile on her face and is willing to help whenever and for whatever may need to be done. She has been involved in activities for the deaf/ hard of hearing students since she was practically a baby. At one of the events at the Hastings Museum, she did activities that she planned herself to keep the students occupied while waiting for the rest of the participants to arrive. She is a member of the Academic Bowl for Deaf/Hard of hearing students. For all of the reasons stated, I nominate Elizabeth for this award."
