"Karma (Kari) Stanford was diagnosed with mild-moderate unilateral hearing loss when she was in elementary school. She adjusted to her CROS aids quickly and never looked back. She has begun participating in more Regional Activities with the most recent one being Battle of the Books. She loves to read and made the transition from Lawrence/Nelson Public Schools to Hastings Middle School smoothly this school year. She is easy to converse with and fits the definition of a “Rising Star “ because she is just beginning to realize how much potential she has!"
