Becca Vach

My Name is Rebecca (Becca) Vach. I am a Parent Guide for Hands and Voices Guide by Your Side for families in Western Nebraska. In addition, I also work for the Department of Health and Human Services as a Program Specialist. My husband and I have two children, an 8-year-old daughter named Bristol and a 5 year old son named Brayton. Brayton has mild, bilateral sensorineural hearing loss and wears hearing aids. We found out about Brayton’s hearing loss when he was two years old and are uncertain if he was born with it or if it was late onset due to ototoxicity medication he received as a newborn. Brayton loves to ride his bike and play with tractors. My goal as a parent guide is to ensure no parent feels alone on this journey.
