Erin Jelinek

Hello, my name is Erin Jelinek.  I live in Atkinson, NE, with my husband and youngest son. We have two other adult children.  I have been in the field of education for 20+ years.  We enjoy traveling to the various activities that our children are involved in, hanging out with family and friends, and outdoor adventures. I am excited to be a ‘Guide by Your Side Parent Guide’ and feel our experiences with our daughter, who was diagnosed with profound bilateral hearing loss at 18 months, will help others along their journey. She wears cochlear implants bilaterally, utilizes sign language interpreters, is a recent college grad, and plans to become a Teacher of the Deaf.
